Kangaroo Aussie Burger

What you'll need

500g pack K-Roo Kangaroo Burgers

Spray oil

4 slices cheddar

4 eggs

4 wholemeal or multigrain burger buns, halved & toasted

⅓ cup low fat mayonnaise

1 butter lettuce

4 slices tinned beetroot, drained

⅓ cup tomato chutney

Salt flakes and freshly ground black pepper

How to cook it

  1. Heat pan or barbecue to medium-high.1. Heat pan or barbecue to medium-high.
  2. Spray kangaroo burgers with oil.
  3. Cook burgers for 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  4. Place cheese on top after turning, to melt.
  5. Fry eggs and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bread roll.
  7. Place lettuce, beetroot, cooked kangaroo burger and egg on top.
  8. Spread 1 tablespoon of tomato chutney on the top half of each bread roll and place on top.
