Kangaroo, Green Bean & Mushroom Stir Fry

What you'll need

1 tablespoon peanut oil

2 garlic cloves, sliced

1 tablespoon grated ginger

1 long red chilli, sliced in rounds & deseeded (optional)

500g pack K-ROO kangaroo steaks, sliced 5mm thick

1 small red onion, cut into thin wedges

250g green beans, trimmed

150g mushrooms, sliced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

2 teaspoons sesame seeds

Cooked brown rice, to serve

How to cook it

  1. Heat oil in wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic, ginger & chilli, cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add sliced kangaroo in 2 batches, cook for 2 minutes until browned.
  4. Remove from wok and set aside.
  5. Add red onion, beans, mushrooms and ΒΌ cup water, cover and cook for 3 minutes or until tender.
  6. Return cooked kangaroo to wok.
  7. Add soy & oyster sauce, stirring until coated.
  8. Serve stir-fry with brown rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
